Portable pump showers draw water from a container you choose — a bucket, a tub or a jerry can — and send it up a hose to a handheld head. Plumbed handheld showers do the same job at home. We show both, so you can picture what you are choosing.

Pump kits come with their own mounts
Hooks, holder brackets and suction cups appear in several of our product photos — handy when there is no shower rail where you are standing.
Nothing invented, nothing inflated
We list only what is visible in each product photo. For anything else — availability, power or materials — write to us and we will answer directly.

Five parts, one simple loop of water.
Most kits in our collection share the same basic layout. Knowing each part helps you set up faster and look after the shower between trips.
The water container
Not usually included — it is whatever clean vessel you have to hand. Its size decides how long your shower lasts.
The pump unit
The body that moves water from the container into the hose. Some units have a display or buttons on the front.
The hose
Coiled, looped or flexible. Keep it free of kinks so water flows evenly to the head.
The handheld head
Where the water comes out. Rinse it through after use to keep the spray holes clear.
Mounts and storage
Hooks, suction cups and mesh bags let you hang the head and pack everything away tidily.
From hillside to bathtub

Open-air rinse
An outdoor shower spot with a view — the setting many portable kits are bought for.

Bathtub hair rinse
A handheld head makes rinsing hair in the tub quick and controlled.

Rail-mounted at home
A matte black slide rail keeps the handheld head at the right height.

Traditional bath mixer
The telephone-style handset: the original handheld shower.

Clean chrome lines
A slide rail with a soap dish, set against sculpted wall tiles.
Getting the most from a portable shower
General tips that apply to most pump and wand showers. Always follow the instructions that come with your specific kit.

What water should I put in the container?
Use clean water. If you warm it, test the temperature with your hand before showering and let it cool if it feels too hot. Avoid adding soaps or oils to the container itself — they can leave residue inside the pump.
How do I set up a pump shower at a campsite?
Place the container on stable ground, position the pump as its instructions describe, then hang the head using the supplied hook or suction cup. Check every hose connection is snug before you switch on.
How should I clean the kit after use?
Run a little fresh water through the pump and hose to flush out soap or grit, wipe the outside, and let every part air-dry fully before it goes into the storage bag.
How do I look after a rechargeable unit?
Charge it with the cable provided, keep charging ports dry and closed, and never charge while the unit is wet. For your model's exact charging guidance, check its manual or email us.
Where can I find specifications for a model?
We only publish details we can see in each product's own photo. For anything more specific, write to [email protected] with the product name and we will reply by email.
Not sure which shower suits your trip?
Tell us where you will be showering and what you need. Email [email protected] and we will help you narrow it down.
